Each decision takes us down a path with consequences...good and sometimes not so good.

As a financial planner, much of my job is simply defining what those consequences are, and how to improve them. I used to joke about Starbucks being what I called a "budget leak" - dollars spent on coffee each week for some people can definitely affect long-term financial savings.

And then came Amazon One-Click purchase. Boom! You just spent another $114!

Without realizing it, it's easy for us to let our money go to things other than our long-term goals. In this month's vlog, I take on the topic of "retail therapy," a seemingly socially acceptable way of doing just that.

If you find yourself feeling driven to this practice the next time you turn on your TV (podcast, get together with a friend, etc.), I hope this will help!
